Any Council planning or resource decisions on adjacent property.
Cost of a LIM report
All councils charge on a cost recovery basis and will vary from local authority to local authority. It is prudent to obtain a quote first before ordering your LIM.
Fees vary depending on which local authority you are dealing with. To give a small but representative sample. On the date of writing this article fees range between four local authorities for a single residential dwelling as follows:
Hamilton $150 (including gst)
Porirua $180
Auckland $284
Wellington $300
However if the time to prepare the LIM exceeded 13 hours, Wellington charged an additional $70 per hour. Porirua charged $90 per hour for what it termed “further research”.
